AWARDS 2021 FINALISTS
- Augmented Reality is not a technology for me, but a way of looking at things. -
I've made several AR works so far.
And looking back, AR is the reason why I was able to connect with the world.
At one point, I felt a gap in the common sense of my surroundings and a disconnection from the world.
I felt that I was disconnected from the world around me, and through the world I could see with AR,
I was able to see the world in a new way.
I feel that I was able to create something, connect with others, and transcend the disconnection.
By seeing the world in a new way, I have been able to expand my own world.
This work expresses the view of "AR" itself, which has brought me to this point.
Also, by seeing it through the eyes of those who have experienced it, they will think of another way of looking at it.
I hope that by finding new ways of seeing in my work, the ways of seeing themselves will be expanded.

I'm an engineer who creates ""new"" technologies into ""interesting"" experiences.
I am particularly good at using AR technology to devise and create ways to incorporate expressions from genres such as movies, games, and comics into something that can actually be experienced.
Since 2016, I have been working as a creative unit 「KATAKOTO」.
Major awards,XR CREATIVE AWARD 優秀賞,総務省異能vationプログラム ジェネレーションアワード部門 [企業特別賞] ,SOWN Best Technological Game Award,etc.

"See There" was unanimously praised by the Nreal jury for its new idea and unique art style.
The high level of technology, the idea of augmented reality and the way it is perceived, as well as the artist's compassion for augmented reality itself, make it a work that touches the hearts of users on three levels: technological, artistic and emotional.
We look forward to seeing how this work will be refined and extended in the future, and how it will be expressed through Nreal's glasses. I sincerely hope that in the near future, together with STYLY and the developers, we can create a life where everyone can see and discover new things about their world through augmented reality.
