The Hidden World

AR really comes across as inauthentic and the quality of the experience is drastically reduced if objects are just placed in space without creating a worldview.
In this work, by evoking the dystopian world which is seen in science fiction movies and animation, I aimed for a high level immersive experience, giving the illusion that “Is that the scene I saw in the movie right in front of our eyes now?”
In terms of approach, I have implemented shaders that blend the reality and 3D objects, the post-processing effects, syncing with the sounds of each element and so on.
By doing these things, we engage people into the AR world and evoke the sensation that the world undergoes a radical transformation as the experience starts (however, it is happening in reality at the same time).
It would be great if you can experience that strange sensation where “if I squint my eyes, maybe I can see that parallel world?”
