AWARDS 2020 FINALISTS

I've been exposed to VR for a while, but I feel that it has not yet been integrated into our daily lives. The biggest obstacle is the user experience. Apart from the dizziness caused by the lack of hardware performance, there are no highly usable and interesting commercial products, and the experience has always been limited to the visual senses.
Using this opportunity, I would like to try to use IKEA Living Furniture Store as a theme for VR shopping, hoping that users can experience the fun of VR shopping, so I used the iPad Pro's LiDAR function to scan IKEA furniture and make 3D models to save the need to process a large number of furniture models. In order to make the model complete, the whole scene is scanned into seven pieces to be assembled, and the lighting is also in green to create an eerie shopping mall. The name of the work is a combination of Sadako and ikea, which is the name of Sakea store.

VR HMD is required for the ultra experience of the work. Learn how to experience it here.
