Born in 1968, Naohiro Ukawa is a Genzai(Just now) artist who has been engaged in various activities since the late 1980s, including working as a filmmaker, graphic designer, VJ, writer, and university professor. He is known for erasing the boundaries between traditional fine art and popular culture, making him one of the most groundbreaking artists in Japan today. He first gained recognition as a graphic designer and filmmaker in the late 1980s, and since participating in "Buzz Club: News from Japan" (MoMA PS1, New York) and "JAM: Tokyo-London" (Barbican Art Gallery, London) in 2001, he has showcased his work in numerous exhibitions both in Japan and internationally.

In 2010, he launched DOMMUNE, Japan's first live streaming studio and channel, which attracted attention in Japan and abroad for its record-breaking number of viewers, and was selected as a recommended work for the 2011 Japan Media Arts Festival. Ukawa views the filming, broadcasting, and recording done at DOMMUNE studio as his "current art pieces". In 2016, he established a satellite studio, "DOMMUNE LINZ!" with a 500-meter stage at the Ars Electronica Train Hall in Linz, Austria. In 2019, he launched another satellite studio, "DOMMUNE SETOUCHI", at the Setouchi International Art Festival, both of which became major topics of discussion.

Additionally, DOMMUNE has participated in numerous international contemporary art exhibitions and has created satellite studios worldwide, in cities such as London, Dortmund, Stockholm, Paris, Mumbai, Linz, Fukushima, Yamaguchi, Osaka, Kagawa, Kanazawa, Akita, Sapporo, and Sado Island. This global presence continues to explore the meanings of being in the "now, here" and "anytime, anywhere". Over the past 14 years, DOMMUNE has broadcast approximately 7,000 programs, totaling over 15,000 hours and surpassing 200 terabytes, with a cumulative viewership exceeding 200 million people.

In 2019, the studio relocated to the 9th floor of the newly renovated Shibuya PARCO. After celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2020, DOMMUNE evolved into its second chapter, transforming into 'SUPER DOMMUNE' an advanced form that embraces the latest technology beyond Web 3.0, looking towards the future. The "Naohiro Ukawa Exhibition: FINAL MEDIA THERAPIST @DOMMUNE" held at the Nerima Art Museum in 2023 questioned the artist's presence within the creative process in the current generative AI era. It drew attention for its historical update on the act of "drawing," featuring spatial paintings created with custom AI and AI-equipped robotic arms.

In 2021, he was awarded the 71st Art Encouragement Prize by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology.

Shanghai-based multimedia artist Lu Yang creates fantastical, often painful, and shocking images which represent an interdisciplinary blend of religion, philosophy, neuroscience, psychology, and modern technology, as well as allusions to real-life forms and structures of natural and religious origin. The output of Lu Yang’s artistic practice spans game engines, 3D-animated films, video game installations, holograms, motion capture performances, virtual reality, and software manipulation. The artist also collaborates with acclaimed scientists, psychologists, performers, designers, experimental composers, music producers, robotics companies, and pop stars.

Her work has been featured in major museums and institutions internationally including recent solo exhibitions at the ARoS Aarhus Art Museum, Aarhus, Denmark; Spiral, Tokyo, Japan; M WOODS, Beijing; MOCA Cleveland, Cleveland, USA; UCCA, Beijing; and Fukuoka Asia Art Museum, Fukuoka, Japan.

Recent works in large-scale thematic exhibitions include 59th Venice Biennale 2022, Asia Society Triennial 2021, New York; Shanghai Biennale 2018 and 2012; Athens Biennale 2018; Liverpool Biennial 2016; Montreal International Digital Art Biennial 2016; 56th Venice Biennale 2015 China Pavilion; and Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale 2014.

Lu Yang’s work has also been recently curated into exhibitions at the Centre Pompidou, Paris, 2020. Lu Yang was recently awarded the BMW Art Journey in 2019, following which he commenced the making of a new digital body of work titled DOKU.

Recently, she was named Deutsche Bank's "Artist of the Year 2022."

David OReilly is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. Starting his career as an independent animator, he created numerous groundbreaking short films including Please Say Something & The External World. He has written for TV shows such as Adventure Time & South Park and created fictional video games in Spike Jonze’s Academy Award winning film Her. He created the iconic simulation games Mountain and Everything, and his Augmented Reality works have received over 3 billion views online.

Gerfried Stocker (AT) is a media artist and an engineer for communication technology and has been artistic and managing director of Ars Electronica since 1995. In 1995/96 he developed the groundbreaking exhibition strategies of the Ars Electronica Center with a small team of artists and technicians and was responsible for the setup and establishment of Ars Electronica’s own R & D facility, the Ars Electronica Futurelab. He has overseen the development of the program for international Ars Electronica exhibitions since 2004, the planning and the revamping of the contents for the Ars Electronica Center, which was enlarged in 2009, since 2005; the expansion of the Ars Electronica Festival since 2015; and the extensive overhaul of Ars Electronica Center's contents and interior design in 2019. Stocker is a consultant for numerous companies and institutions in the field of creativity and innovation management and is active as a guest lecturer at international conferences and universities. In 2019 he was awarded an honorary doctorate from Aalto University, Finland.

Engaged in the New Business Creation Division at TOKYU Corporation, focusing on enhancing urban spaces through the implementation of XR and Web3 technologies. Responsibilities include planning and executing AR content utilizing 3D urban data, managing the "Virtual City Consortium," which presents operational guidelines for city-linked metaverses, and driving business creation at the intersection of Web3 and urban development through blockchain games and NFTs. Head of the Marketing Division at Asahi Breweries, Ltd. Joined the company in 1998 and has held key roles, including leading the development of the new genre beer "Clear Asahi" and serving as the Brand Manager for "Asahi Super Dry."

After earning an MBA from Waseda University, he took on management responsibilities in the company's overseas business, including overseeing beverage operations while stationed in Indonesia. Upon returning to Japan, he was appointed as the first General Manager of the New Value Creation Promotion Department in 2020, where he spearheaded initiatives such as Smart Drinking.

In 2022, he became the President & CEO of Sma-Dori. Since April 2023, he has held his current position.

Joined PARCO CO,LTD. in 2006. After working at the Hiroshima store and being seconded to PARCO CITY, he launched the character collaboration café business, "THE GUEST cafe&diner," in 2016 while in the Entertainment Business Department.

Later, in the Shibuya Store Preparation Office, he was responsible for leasing and promotions for the renewal of Shibuya PARCO in 2019, as well as launching "2G."

Transferred to the Advertising Department in 2022 and assumed his current position in 2023.
