We would like to announce that Wyatt Roy "Piece of String", the award winning work for the VR content award "NEWVIEW AWARDS 2019", has exhibited at the Technology Culture Festival "Media Ambition Tokyo" and concluded its session in success.
Wyatt Roy "Piece of String" is a VR work that received double awards for "SILVER Prize" and "Media Ambition Tokyo Prize" in "NEWVIEW AWARDS 2019". This time, it will be exhibited as a benefit for the "Media Ambition Tokyo Prize".
NEWVIEW will continue the project in 2020 to discover and nurture next-generation artists who can drive the expression in three-dimensional space as well as support the progress to the next step.
Wyatt is writer, photographer, filmmaker and virtual reality artist who studies new ways to create and share immersive-type stories. His VR stories focus on capturing and communicating human characters with nuances, the space we live in and the emotions embedded in our memories. He is the co-founder of Maku, a film and photography creative group, and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stanford University.
