DRAGON + GATE project reimagines the classic snake game through augmented reality (AR), celebrating the Year of the Snake. Set in the culturally rich Odeon Circle, this interactive experience weaves themes of prosperity and fortune, with the snake consuming symbolic elements like money, work, and love. It aims to bridge generational divides by offering simple, accessible gameplay that appeals to both young and older audiences. By combining art, technology, and multiplayer systems, "DRAGON + GATE" not only revitalizes urban spaces but also fosters community engagement and social interaction, enhancing both the cultural and experiential value of the location. This bold reinterpretation of a classic game transforms Odeon Circle into a vibrant community hub, encouraging intergenerational engagement and pushing the boundaries of traditional gaming. Poptoday x BKKBROS. decided to bring the nostalgia fun into the real world using voxel art, a modern 3D pixel art technique. To achieve this, he invited BKK BROS., renowned for his expertise in modern pixel art, to collaborate. Together, they aimed to elevate the project by transforming it from 2D to 3D and adding vibrant, dynamic visuals, creating a next-level interactive experience.

Poptoday is a creator who love digital art. After graduated from the Department of Industrial design major on Graphic design faculty of Architect , Chulalongkorn university , he has been work in game industry and digital art as an artist , designer , character designer. Over the years, Poptoday has come to know BKK BROS. through their shared work in the digital graphic industry, exploring various forms of media. After met FabCafe team and discovering Styly, Poptoday was inspired to bring more fun and accessibility to urban spaces. This idea led them to consider Yaowarat, especially its iconic archway, and how it could be transformed into something playful.
