OTHER PERSPECTIVE
DETAILS OF THE WORK
This work aims to express the idea that the environment changes and circulates.
Looking through the Apple Vision Pro transforms the scenery before your eyes into a fashion show venue.
Thanks to the unique characteristics of Apple Vision Pro, the visuals are influenced by the background of the real world and the ambient light, offering different appearances depending on the moment.
This is not a fashion show where only a select few can watch from the front row. Instead, it is a collaborative creation, free from the constraints of time and place, built together with the audience.
By using clothes created in 3D, which produce no waste and have minimal carbon emissions, the work also serves as an antithesis to mass production and mass disposal.
The runway floor is textured with discarded clothing, and cut-out patterns in the garments indicate that parts which would typically be discarded are repurposed for the show.
The looping animation data subtly suggests the concept of a circulating environment.
While there are constraints such as data size, the focus was placed on enhancing the immersive experience by prioritizing the texture and quality of the clothing.
